Flame retardancy and ecology – two major topics in our industry. A new generation of flame retardant additives shows how optimum flame retardant properties can be achieved without the use of halogen.
Our new masterbatch properties allow you to create individual solutions with distinctive advantages. Applications are, for example, touch applications like HMI (Human Machine Interface), mobile phone displays, LCD and TV screens as well as any kind of electronic displays and applications for eMobility (charging station displays or illuminated components).
With the development of halogen-free masterbatches and the offer of corresponding additives, LEHVOSS is making an important contribution to the further development of flame-retardant plastics. The already stricter standards, but, above all, a growing ecological awareness in the market, are shifting demand here.
LUVOBATCH®/LUVOADD have also responded by increasingly offering halogen-free masterbatches under the LUVOBATCH®-FR brand – both nitrogen and phosphorus-based and intumescent systems. The company is now consistently moving into the future with the distribution of Inovia’s new halogen-free additives for flame retardant finishes of PMMA, as well as other materials.
